History of Neo Destati
How did Neo Destati come about? It all came about in the summer of 2004 where I accidentally discovered the almighty code of HTML when I right-clicked and accidentally press “View Page Source” instead of saving my picture or page. It didn’t take me long to learn it and start blogging right away on Freewebs in the form of using premade layouts and many various site names. I soon learned to make layouts in MS Paint (which I made simple and made great where it was kinda hard to tell I made it in MS Paint) and became more of a blogger. Eventually my good, long time online friend, Afef bought her own domain and hosting. She gave me first dibs on hosting which I quickly accepted. I was soon on a sub domain and off of crappy, free places. My blog’s name finally made it to Destati for a good year-ish (cannot remember exactly) where just somewhere in early 2009, I have added the Neo in the name to create Neo Destati. Why the Neo? Neo means new and I felt a new coming as that was about the same time I have starting to learn about Wicca and Witchcraft, which has greatly changed the way I view life. I felt like a new being hence adding the Neo. Just before moving from Michigan, I have found Byethost and CO.CC, a free web hosting site that allowed PHP and MySQL and a free site domain site. I went on to these two in order to get a feel of what it was like to own and operate a domain. Finally between Christmas and New Years Eve of 2009, I finally purchased my own domain name and hosting. The story of Neo Destati has only begun…
