Yay, I am alive! I finally got assed enough to blog. Oh well, but I did manage to get my new iPod Touch almost a month ago now! So what kind of stuff can it do?

• Music: Of course an iPod is made for music!  My iPod is an 8GB compared to my old 2GB Nano (2nd Gen).  The set up for the music is better because there is a larger screen to see song titles and cover artwork.
• Wi-Fi Access: Gotta love the wi-fi!  I can use it at work (if I am sneaky lol) as the store has wi-fi.  It comes with Safari to browse the internet no problem.  It’s really convenient for a quick check on the e-mail and such.
• Apps: I think the apps are my favourite!  There are apps for your favourite social networking sites (i.e. MySpace and Facebook, which I have both), instant messengers (I have one for Yahoo! Messenger), internet radio (I have ShoutCast),  and more.  There is one for people here in the US to use for Pizza Hut.  You can make an online account with PizzaHut.com on their website first and set up all your info and crap.  Then you can use the app to order pizza from your iPod.  To set up addresses to deliver to, you have to do it on their website first.  For me, I have my house address and my work address set up.  It’s really neat.  You can get a better view of what you want on your pizza first before ordering.  Heck, I found this app for live streaming police scans last night!  They currently do not have one for here in Casper, WY, but I am able to listen to police scans all the way back home in Bay City, MI!  Oh yea, some other apps they have are ones for micro-blogging, eBay, and cookbook stuff.  All the ones I have are either full free ones or limited free ones.  I don’t need to pay for anything unless it is something I know that would be useful to me.

There is more about the iPod Touch, but this should brief it up good enough.  It’s why I love my new iPod Touch!  You just need to be fragile with it, especially the touch screen.  I have a screen protector and a case for it.  But yea, I also got a free $15 USD Target gift card when I got my iPod just for buying it!  So also try to look out for free offers like that when you buy your next iPod!
